Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of scrptr (the "Service"), operated by Ramp Haus Ltd, trading as SCRPTR ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16590701), registered address 80 Hunloke Avenue, Chesterfield S40 2PD, United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service. By using it you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Accounts
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google credentials secure. You authorise us to access your connected YouTube data via Google's APIs solely to provide the Service's features.
3. Subscriptions, billing and refunds
- Access is provided on a recurring monthly subscription that includes a monthly allowance of generation tokens.
- Fees are billed in advance through our payment processor Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, with effect at the end of the current billing period.
- As a UK consumer you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel a new subscription for a refund. If you ask us to begin providing the Service within that period and then cancel, we may deduct a proportionate amount for what you have used. After the 14-day period, payments for the current billing cycle are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Unused monthly tokens do not roll over to the next period.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
- violate the YouTube Terms of Service or any third-party platform's terms;
- scrape, resell, or abuse the Service, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or security;
- generate content that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or that misrepresents AI-assisted content where disclosure is required.
5. Your content and ownership
You retain ownership of the inputs you provide (ideas, brand details, transcripts) and the scripts and outputs you generate ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights to any material you submit.
6. AI-generated output
The Service uses AI to generate scripts and suggestions. Output may be inaccurate, not unique, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any output before you use or publish it. We make no guarantee of performance, views, or results.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties including Google/YouTube, our AI provider, our database/hosting provider, and our payment processor. Your use of those features is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
8. Intellectual property
The Service itself, including its software, branding, and design, is owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination your right to use the Service ends; certain clauses survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, governing law).
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including, for UK consumers, your statutory rights).
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the date above; material changes will be notified to you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
